Despite a thorough hangover from a Thursday night drinking binge, I did some things over the weekend. Friday happy hour started at Latin American Club in the Mission District at 22nd and Valencia. Latin American Club was a little nicer than my usual Friday happy hour trip to Casanova Lounge.

During the summer, Daly City is renowned for its fog. If possible I would like to keep track of how foggy it really is. Here is my estimate for the week thus far.

7/19 — I worked at home and a few hours of clear!
7/20 — pretty damn foggy
7/21 — patch of sunlight but mostly foggy
7/22 — totally foggy all day
7/23 — pretty damn foggy in the morning on the way to work

Today’s focus is on non-chain restaurants around Daly City. Although I live in this foggy working-class Bay Area city, I don’t often go out to eat. When I do go out I try to eat at neighborhood places. And no, I don’t consider Applebee’s a neighborhood place.
