IGN does a nice breakdown of an in-game video for Call of Duty: Black Ops due November 2010. The coolest things are the radio-controlled gun robots and the guided missile weaponry. I thought Black Ops was supposed to be set in Vietnam but I’m pretty sure nobody had machine guns mounted on radio-controlled cars with remote cameras. Maybe I’m wrong.

I just replaced the tires on my 2008 Toyota Prius this week for the first time. The old tires had about 48,000 miles on them. Oddly, one of the tires had much more wear compared to the others. The service representatives at Toyota told me I could probably go another 5,000 miles so I drove a few weeks more before deciding to go ahead and simply replace all of the tires.

Happily, Discount Tire (a.k.a. America’s Tire) had a $70 rebate for a set of 4 Michelin tires. I got the Michelin Energy Saver All-Season at $133 per tire. After taxes, service, and fees I think it cost me about $740 including a lifetime warranty.

The tires do not feel significantly different from the Toyota OEM tires. They are slightly bouncier but I think that bouncy feeling can be attributed to simply being new tires.
