You may have read my totally wrong prediction that the Wunderwaffe DG-2 would be a night vision gun. In fact the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is a lightning gun that shoots electricity and is only available on the Zombies map. I believe the Wunderwaffe DG-2 is only available for the Japanese Zombies in Map Pack 2 which was released today.

It reminds me of the BFG 9000 from Doom.

Map pack 2 is available today! June 11. It has the 3 multiplayer maps and 1 zombie map except its Japanese zombies instead of Nazis. Cool.

Banzai

Deep in the jungles of Japanese controlled territory, players will battle to control the tall river bridge in “Banzai,” a bright, medium-sized jungle map featuring a stunning waterfall, villages and hidden caves well suited for deadly snipers, surprise attacks and all out gun battles.

Corrosion

In “Corrosion,” players will face down the enemy in a deteriorated Russian train yard. Shattered pipelines and war torn train cars decorate this mid-sized map and are great for full-out team combat. Beware, because the enemy could be anywhere!

Sub Pens

“Sub Pens” drops players into a close-quarter abandoned Japanese submarine base that’s littered with live ammunition, breached subs and idle fighter planes. Monsoon rains will be a factor as teams struggle to control key choke points in this tight map designed for exciting and deadly battles.

Shi No Numa (Zombie Swamp)

In this addition to the four-player co-op favorite, the un-ending Zombie horde requires players to keep moving, moving, moving! Imperial Zombies rise from the misty swamps and flaming Hell Hounds blaze through the jungle as players struggle to stick together. The situation is bleak, but there is help on the way: new traps to keep the undead out (the deadly Flogger), a zip line for quick escapes, and best of all, a new weapon: The Wunderwaffe DG-2. I’ve been messing around with trying to get a DLNA server setup on my home network. I have a Mac and I wanted something free. I came across PS3 Media Server (blog, which is available on Google Code (download). I am exceptionally pleased with the results. Unpack the .dmg and put it in the applications folder. Installation instructions are sparse because there really is nothing to install or configure. Start the app and it will start running ad DLNA server that PS3 can see.

The only thing I changed was to limit the Share settings. Go to Navigation/Share settings and add your folders of choice to Shared folders at the bottom of the screen.

I also have Fuppes running on Ubuntu on a small computer that I made but Fuppes is somewhat disappointing because my PS3 does not sync the data files reliably. It took HOURS after running the Fuppes database update before newly added media files would appear on the PS3. PS3 Media Server is much easier to manage. I would switch my Ubuntu to PS3 MS but the software requires a GUI. Consequently it will not work on my headless Linux server.
