Interesting characters with some fine comedic moments. High production values with good animation. It’s kind of cheesy and a naturally predictable competition story. I enjoyed it.

I managed to watch this before it got licensed. If you like long anime series, check out the first story arc of Bleach, about 63 episodes.

Bleach is a solid story with interesting characters. It unfolds slowly like Dragonball but at a consistent and reliable pace. You’ll know when the 1st story arc ends because it loses a lot of focus and its generally slower afterwards.

I’m not sure how it will be on Cartoon Network but I was disappointed with CN’s version of Fullmetal Alchemist.
