iPhone ringtone: DJ Assault Ass n Titties

Tagged:

As mentioned earlier I cut up some of my music into ringtones. I cut 2 ringtones sampled from the classic club tune “Ass n Titties” which I believe was mixed by DJ Assault.

To download!! Right click the download link below and choose “save link as…” or similar sounding right-click action should work.

(Begin: HTML 5 Audio)
Ass n Titties (download — right-click, “save as…”)

Broke-ass hoes (download — right-click, “save as…”)

Nerd trickery: if you are viewing this page with Safari or Chrome, you should see an audio player above this text between the Begin and End blocks.
(End: HTML 5 Audio)

Simple disclaimer: the music is copyrighted material but I’m assuming a 6 second clip can be considered fair use. If you are the copyright holder and you do not want me to distribute this ringtone, please let me know and I will take it down.

Make your own iphone ringtones from your iTunes Music

I got sick and tired of hearing the same damn iPhone ringtones everyday at work so I decided to make my own iphone ringtones for free using GarageBand.

Following Apple’s instructions in the tutorial How to create custom ringtones in GarageBand I made a few new ringtones for my iPhone 3GS.

Keys to creating a good ringtone:

- Find a song that is loud enough to hear on the street or from a distance

- Pick a good 5-10 second loop from the songs, preferably something from a repetitive section of the song where the end of the loop easily transitions back into the beginning.

- Electronic music and Hip Hop make great ringtones because of the repetitive instrumentals and/or lyrics characteristic of the genres.

My example homemade ringtones (audio player will load for Safari/Chrome users):

Ass n Titties by DJ Assault

“Playa Hata” by Notorious B.I.G.

“Jung at Heart” by Master Cylinder (Volkswagen commercial circa 1998)

Listen to Detroit Lions NFL football live on your iphone

Update: the “CBS Radio” app has been renamed to “Radio.com” You can still find 97.1 the ticket on Radio.com but the stream is broken. Use FStream to listen to the Lions

Use the CBS Radio application to listen to live radio broadcasts of Detroit Lions football. It’s tough to care about the Lions much these days but I listen to their games on the radio anyway. It’s kind of nice to hear radio commercials for Detroit area businesses. I love Buddy’s Pizza!

install the CBS Radio application and open it.

Tap stations and look for Detroit, MI.

Lions radio broadcasts are available on “97.1 The Ticket” but I think games are subject to blackout.
