If you’re bored on a decent weekend day, try flying a kite.

Pride of the Mediterranean on Fillmore near Japantown has small portions, mediocre food, and a belly dancer with quite a belly indeed. However they have hookahs which is why most of the people were there.

Mario’s Bohemian Cigar Store Cafe in North Beach is very small but nice and quiet.

The Savoy Tivoli is a white people bar on Grant in North Beach.

Murasaki Sushi Bar is an above average sushi place on Clement, Inner Richmond.

I used to have a newspaper subscription but I gave it up because the only sections I ever read were Food, Sports, and Business. A nice thing about the news is the weekly sales specials circulars for Circuit City, Best Buy, Fry’s, and other stores. I never know what’s on sale anymore.

Best Buy has its weekly specials listed online (as does Circuit City, but not Fry’s). There are some online-only Best Buy specials but I don’t think they ever have the best price on Internet-sale items. I’m more inclined to do my Internet purchases from Buy.com
